HOVBORG KRO is located in scenic surroundings of  appr. 10,000 acres of forest land. The area has been disignated by the Danish conservation authorities as recreation area.
Arriving via route E20 Kolding- Esbjerg, take exit 70 Holsted and follow road 425  towards Grindsted/Billund.

Hovborg is surrounded by vast plantations such as Baldersbæk and Klelund. You can walk for hours without meeting other people, enjoy nature, find tracks, watch the red deers, just relax and enjoy the silence. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious dinner and tasty wine with your family or friends.

You can walk along the stream (Holme Å) where you will find untouched nature and sound fish population, e.g. salmon. Fishing will require a fishing permit, which you can buy at the reception. The permit is valid for the stream as well as for the put and take lake.
