In the old inn building are low ceilinged rooms, and the inn has a reputation for serving good Dansh meals. The dishes are prepared from old-fashioned recipes based on good and fresh ingredients.
With great respect for the original building style of the 200 years old inn, the old stable and barn building is rebuilt into modern and untraditional conference rooms.

On 1 April 2015 the hosts of Hotel Hovborg Kro,
Johanne & Jørgen Jørgensen
celebrated their 30th anniversary
at the inn.
The picture shows the two hosts with
their two daughters, two sons in law
and four grandchildren:
The youngest daughter, receptionist Dorthe Jørgensen and her husband chef Tom Jørgensen,
parents of Niklas and David.
The eldest daughter, restaurant manager Lene Stoustrup and her husband head chef Henrik Stoustrup,
parents of Felix and Luca.
